Wow! Our granddaughter, Sophia Kate Hanson was born yesterday, six weeks early and weighs 3 pounds and 10 ounces. She is doing well, and her mom, Jessica (our daughter) is improving. Lots of people asking for pictures so here are a few: (by the way, thanks to everyone who is praying for them!)

Congratulations!!! My prayers are with little Sophia but also with Jessica. It’s very hard to leave the hospital without your baby. But remind her that Sophia is in the best of hands. Babies are stronger than they look and your granddaughter looks to be a fighter. Just a word of advice to you Rick…. My Grandma told my dad that you love your kids unconditionally, but there is nothing like grandkids. 😉
