It’s easy to complain. It’s a simple thing to point out what’s wrong in the world or in one’s life. Let’s try something a little tougher – let’s try finding some answers.
Think about a big problem in your life. Consider what a pain in the neck it is. Now – is there something that you can do to solve the problem? Maybe not. But just maybe there is.
I presume that we can actually positively address 90% of our personal issues. Hate your job? Marriage a mess? Kids acting crazy? Out of shape? All fixable problems!
I want to challenge you: If you can address your problem, if you can do something that works toward a solution – do it! Anybody can grouch about something that is wrong. But solutions-oriented people get things done.
What’s the problem?
Now that we’ve identified that…
let’s do something about it!
I’d like to hear from you. What do you plan to do something about?
I plan to lose ten pounds. it’s not easy because I’ve lost my driver. I used to blame my Dad for his problems see. Lost marriage, lost job, diabetes, heart disease, not a good ending to a life. This all came to an end when I realized it wasn’t all his fault, and I subsequently asked his forgiveness.
It was great afterward, refreshing our relationship before he passed away. However, now I don’t have that internal anger pushing me. I’m free! So, I’m going to lose ten pounds, but I have no desire to be a gym rat like in the past. Time is sacred and life’s too short for me to focus on having a hard body. Healthy? Yes! 10 lbs? sure can! Hard body? No thanks.
